He doesn't fear that MDB - I assure you! (One has to ride 'em to puncture 'em, eh Al?)
Yes, of course - if work permits - topcat/Dave is always asking (although the last time we headed that way it all got a bit dicey!)so how do you fancy an extremely genteel ride plus a beer/curry at the end of Jan?

I bought an X10 a few months back and haven't used my DSLR since. I love that little camera, it's a little bit quirky. I would love the XE1, but that will have to wait. I agree though, for now it's best to stick to jpeg with x series. When I shoot anything more serious than my cat my weapon of choice is a Mamiya 645. That is why I have considered moving from my Canon/Nikon hybrid to the Fuji X system. X-series bodies are pocketable, Fujinon lenses are comparable to Leica glass, and the exr sensor produces beautiful pictures. (The raw support is quite rubbish though.)
X10 is a great camera indeed. As a regular film shooter I love the film simulator. A roll of Provia always with you :P. But what comes to the XE1, the lack of optical viewfinder makes it quite rubbish. The hybrid viewfinder on X-Pro and X10 is so damn good!I bought an X10 a few months back and haven't used my DSLR since. I love that little camera, it's a little bit quirky. Yes, I'm not sure I could live without any sort of viewfinder. I use viewfinder a lot of the time. The EXR sensor is great, you just have to trust it to do a great job.X10 is a great camera indeed. Having a optical viewfinder also increases your battery life. It also has no noise like the EVF's (If you encounter some, get your eyes checked).Yes, I'm not sure I could live without any sort of viewfinder. I use viewfinder a lot of the time. Very interesting, can't wait for a Digitalrev review of this camera. You might be interested to see that a new X20 has just been announced.
