(Note that I didn't say we didn't stop! A bit ashamed at the top to meet some guys touring who'd come up the steeper way with full panniers! )
Vernon, I like the Jamaican (guessing from the colours on the hat?)/Scottish mix! Something like myself, having lived in JA when I was younger (MUCH younger, as in aged 5 to 14). I went to school in Kingston and have very happy memories of that time, so part of my heart will always be Jamaican. As for the food, wow; I could quite happily live on Tastee Patties, jerk chicken and curried goat with rice 'n' peas!
