I think he may be posting about the buttock clenching moment of sliding across gravel on a recumbent two wheeler while I remarked what fun it was on three wheels, as it is the speed was not bad considering his GPS did not inform him that the "quiet" lanes were strewn in debris and the hills only went up.
I did hit 38.4 mph on one of the rare downhills though and made a sustained 30mph for about three miles on a well surfaced flat bit which was rather nice.
Yesterday, sunday, got up at 5.30am, cycled 16 miles to work after saturdays jolly boys day out to Brighton, don't ask, spent 12 hours at work and then cycled home again. Had dinner, a beer and then fell asleep.
