Oh and a tool box for all the bits and bobs like tools, lube and chain cleaner etc...

Pair of Altura Night Vision waterproof trousers. First step to (almost) all-weather cycling.

Gave my sister a list of bike-related stuff that I wanted, and she got me a bag for growing herbs on your patio (not enough space and too many herb pots already) and a cookbook based on vegetables (most recipes contain meat, and my wife is a vegetarian, and I have started to cook my own dishes over the last couple of years, so need cookbooks less now).

Oh, well.

Havn't got it yet as brothers computer went belly up about two weeks before Christmas so now it will be 50th birthday prezzy instead, and that is a magnetic toolshelf for my EBC workstand. Then I won't keep forgetting where I have put the bike tool that I had in my hand a moment ago .

Ergon GC3 grips with integrated bar ends - very flash ;)
and...
a set of SKS Chromoplastic mudguards.

As for the latter, I was thinking they would be winter fit only, but having spent umpteen hours fitting them due to instructions that omit all the critical bits, screws that are too short and clearances that are too tight... I think I might just leave them on...

:o) Yes, been there!! Loved the line on the packaging..... "fits in minutes". True; about 180 of them ;)!

I didn't get any bike related presents, however I did get some money from relatives which is now earmarked for a nice set of rear panniers for touring.
