I know, highbrow question time. I've just bought a Scott Scale 750 like this:

and I want some exciting flat pedals. I was tempted to go for DMR V6 Green:

But I have no idea if those greens are anything like the same. So better to go for a contrast? White?

Get matching pedals from the LBS when you collect the bike? Or at least buy a few options from a web retailer with free returns (like Wiggle) in case the colour isn't right

There isn't anthing else on the bike that is white so will look a little silly. The green look OK

Personally if it was me I would go for a pair of black Saint's as you can pick them up for about £40 at the minute. Then pimp it up with some green alloy ceramic jockey wheels, chainring bolts, alloy dust caps, cable ferrules etc to break up the black on the back end.

The spikes on many look fearful...and bad for shin integrity! Clipless for me!

To the OP, I think the V6 pedals are plastic, you would be much better going for the V8 or V12 pedals, though not sure either come in green. Personally I would go for silver ones as every other pedal I've had has eventually flaked and started to show the metal anyway.

Name a green clipless pedal?

I'd go rubber but I don't remember seeing a green one recently. I've some rather fetching blue Vaverts on one bike... but despite the brand name, I can only find them in blue, grey and black!

Some of the flats look tame compared to what we were rocking 20 years ago. Check the Black Widow oddesey pedals. I still have the scars in my shin
