What Bike Road £800 Budget

Surely the Carrera Tdf can do 117 miles in one day subject to having the right rider on? There's a few riders in the Newbies Progress thread who'd manage I'm sure.

Not understanding the motive for change if I am to be honest.

If you have truly outgrown the abilities of the Careara then I would've thought you would've had a shortlist of bikes in your own mind and/or a definite set of next bike requirements.

Or do you just want a shiny new bike? In which case just go buy whatever takes your fancy.

I got one of these a Cpl of years ago ,, cracking bike , been on loads of others that mates have bought for much higher prices and have been no where near as good as the scott triple

Scott's a lovely bike I've got a 10, but frame spec is same, lovely ride and you can really make it work. Also got an Allez, more relaxed but equally as good and nippy.
