Husker Du were rather good though. The dEUS one will never be dislodged. It is entirely illogical and even if I was the only person in the world who loved that album, it still wouldn't!

The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead
Genesis - Trick Of The Tail
Sleeper - The It Girl
The B-52's - The B-52's
And one more from a long list that would include:

Kasabian -Kasabian
Everything else Genesis did before 'Trick Of The tail'.
Carol Kid - Nice Work
INXS - Listen Like Thieves
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
ABBA - Gold
Sixteen Tambourines - How Green Is Your Valley
REM - All of their early stuff
Jim Reeves - We Thank Thee
Stereophonics - Word Gets Around
Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water
The Divine Comedy - everything

This is ridiculous. I've not even scratched the surface, there is no way you can pick just five. I'm annoyed now...

bingo, bingo what ya gonna do-e-o,
bingo, bingo where ya gonna goooooooooo,

London Calling - The Clash

Fugazi - Marillion

Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles

Rock Art and the X Ray Style - Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros

Demon Days - Gorillaz

Pretty solid could maybe change one but could quite happily live with just those 5 forever.
