On my kindle an account of a trike tour by an American, Steve Greene.
Pedantic, verbose and never uses one word when six will do. Some of it is down to a different version of English language but interesting if you ignore the pedantry and self glorification.

"In eternity there is no time, only an instant long enough for a joke."

Any jokes yet?

I have got to that bit. I have wondered myself whether the afterlife would be a moment stretched forever; otherwise it would get boring. There are not many laughs in this book. I don't know. It's alright, but I am not feeling it.

Ben Miller of Armstrong and Miller fame, studying a PhD in physics at Cambridge before leaving to take up a comedy career.

I'm a third of the way through, so far we've had quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity, and now we're on to the origin of species, very entertaining.

Two feet, four paws by Spud talbot-ponsonby. She walked around Britains coast with her dog to highlight and collect money for the homeless- 4500 miles. When she reached the end of her walk she broke down in tears and swept her dog tess up into her arms, very moving.
I was saddened to learn she died from cancer, very poignant as she was still quite young and after following her adventures it felt like i had got to know her.
