Pomegranate cider in the afternoon..
Hot chocolate before bed..

Point of order m'lud. Cider is made from apples only. If pomegranates are involved it is not cider, even if it tastes really good.

Amontillado or Palo Cortado Sherry pre-lunch
Lightly oaked Chardonnay with the starters
Pinot Noir with turkey
A cleansing ale or two afterwards
Probably get badgered into malt or brandy later

I've been gifted beers from Hobgoblin and from Freedom Brewery so they'll be sampled during the day and with the Christmas dinner.
Glass of port to follow, as is traditional.

Later, I've got a choice of malts so whatever takes my fancy until I fall asleep on the sofa.

A ferret through our reasonably priced wines rack will produce something as we head well into the evening/night/Boxing Day.

Drambuie when we finally hit the sack.
