Terry Allen - Lubbock on Everything, classic LP, here's New Delhi Freight Train. Allen uses a lots of repeating loops throughout the record, it's quite interesting in actual fact.



John Starling from Seldom Scene has a good version of this on one of his solo LPs.

I'll be having a natter with Ted McKenna in a few weeks, he now plays with Gerry McAvoy's "Band Of Friends" (Having played the drums with Rory Gallagher after Alex died) and Maz is a massive Rory fan so we always hang around for a drink after they've finished playing.
The Sensational Alex Harvey Band were my favourite band of the 70s
