"Fun" trivia about this song. Evin is the infamous Tehran prison where Anusheh Ashuri and Nazanin Zaghari were held. The phone message at the beginning is what you would hear if someone calls you from Evin before you get to talk to them. Nikan (guitar and vocals) and Arash (on the sampler in this song) spent time in Evin after being arrested for releasing blasphemous music. They eventually fled Iran before being sentenced in absentia to 14 years in prison for their music.

Thrash ain't really my thing, but I have a lot of respect for their commitment. Wasn't one of them sentenced to being lashed as well?

I think it was Arash who was sentenced to lashes. Quoting Trainspotting, balls the size of watermelons.

Now the nights are drawing in, I listened to Ralph Vaughan Williams , Sinfonia Antarctica, then in complete contrast to Yma Sumac, classics to Latin Mambo, Yma, had a five Octive vocal range, it certainly cleared the Ear wax!
