Almost complete silence, in Saint-Savin, a town of only a few hundred about 5km south of Argelès-Gazost in southern France. I really wish I didn't have to fly back to Australia, but my Pyrénées cycling trip is over.

There's a new girl on the block - at work - and several decades younger than me. She was order-picking in the warehouse while i was looking for something (which nobody else could find). She was playing music from her phone. I said i like that, what is it?, and shazamed it to spotify. I played it later in the car on the way home. And the lyrics are quite explicit. Just cranked that out (found it on Spotify) at high volume on the main system - sounds pretty funky.
