A bit of classic metal from the legendary Diamond Head. Still going strong after all these years. Taken from their new album.
Brain Tatler has got to be one of the most underrated guitarists/songwriters on the planet. The guy can pull out riff after riff that must make Iommi proud.

Just in from Explosions in the Sky, very enjoyable but I think I prefer to listen to their albums. Not that I didn't appreciate them live, just their style lends itself better to album consumption I reckon.

I have a question for you knowledgeable folks: the lead guitarist occasionally used something with a blue led glowing in it, he sort of waved it over the strings rather than strumming and it made the note come out like he was using a slide, only it was an electronic sound. Does that make any sense? If so, what was it? I'm no guitarist but it's something I've never seen before and am interested to know what it is.

I might have said this before but we must share a record collection, we certainly have similarly varried taste.
Talking heads "Stop Making Sense" stage show, I have the dvd release, is one of the best stage shows I've seen, simple and brilliant. It starts out with David Byrne on his own with a stereo and guitar on stage doing Psychokiller and each subsequent track sees another band member come out. Well worth a look.

Dead Kennedeys.....Oh yeah. Jello's a decent bloke.

In the punk thrash vein have you heard much of our very own Sub Humans with dick Lucas, another top bloke?
