One of my all time fave bands... Suicidal Tendencies brand new album.

Includes the instant classic 'Clap Like Ozzy' (featuring the mighty drumming of legend Dave Lombardo)

Everything about this track is completely insane. Makes this 50 year old want to regress back to my old 20 year old stage diving maniac self.

Annoying they're playing the London date with Agnostic Front on the same night as some pensioners from Brum....

Wanted to clear away the cobwebs, so I just put on side two of Perfect Fool (which I haven't played for some time) at significant volume. I'd forgotten just how good this is (the trumpet break in the middle still raises the hairs on the back of my neck after 30+ years):

Still prefer his earlier 'acoustic' stuff (even though he was plugged in through a bunch of 'effects' most of the time)

I do like that, and there's no denying his voice and guitar skills give him more than enough to make great music, but if I had to choose I'd personally go for the Glorious Fool stuff - the bass, the brass and the mighty drums all seem to me to add something really enriching to his music. (The acoustic's a bit too close to yer basic folk, of which I have to admit I'm not a big fan.)

Currently listening to various albums all very different to each other.

Take Control - Slaves their latest offering and i love it, just a drummer and a guitar player and it's punk and dirty very glad i found this pair.

Foreverland - The Divine Comedy, never really been into this band that much, but for some reason loving this album after seeing them on Jools Holland, very catch tunes and easy to have on in the background.

KIN - KT Tunstall, always been a fan even though it's in a genre i don't generally follow or touch, this is decent not as good as some of her previous albums, but again very easy to listen to.

Rock That Boogie - Various Artists, saw this posted by Not Hit Records on their FB page so shipped in a copy on CD, covering Boogie/Jive from 1932 to the early 1960's, brilliant collection and i haven't even finished listening to the whole thing yet

will no doubt be adding Seasick Steve's new album as well now it's out, as i sounds like it's as good as the previous offerings.

Which has just finished and is followed by Krautrock, can't find a vid of of it except live versions.

Mind you, the version I'm listening to was a live peel session.
