Got myself reacquainted with Kula Shaker this evening. I hadn't realised they had a new album out and it's bloody good. Even better is that they're on a tour and not ignoring Newcastle like a lot of the bands that play the O2 Academies do.
That's me got a few good gigs to look forward to in a couple months: Explosions in the Sky, Earth and Kula Shaker. I'll probably go to Byker Grave as well, because I really like Slabdragger, who have popped up next on my playlist:
