You beat me to it @User259. I heard snatches of her music on this evening's Radio Four's Pick of the Week as was driving back from a Mungo Jerry gig.
She was described as a genius by XTC's Andy Partridge and he broke down as he played the Kiss stopping it less than a minute into it describing it as perfection. I have to agree with his assessment
I've just listened to Jesus was a Crossmaker. I'm about to purchase some of her music.
I was gobsmacked to read about her troubled background - you'd not know it from her music.
Dale Watson, The Truckin' Sessions trilogy, a lot of country trucking stuff is nonsense but there's a few gems in this compilation, this is a fine song, not really a true truckers tune apart from the title just a great twangy country tune, lovely chorus.
