200mm joists, no insulation, 7 watt GU10 lamps......nah. Even if somebody used 50 watt mains halogens, it would still be fine.

It's our bathroom/loo. It's not a fire compartment so I think we should be OK. The house was built in the 1880s and the rear extension containing my International Centre for World Domination was built in the 1970s. The whole shambolic wreck probably misses all current building regulations by a country mile.
