Which is fine right up to the point you have to do anything that involves combining units, or even using different derivations of imperial units. In engineering normally if we come across anything archaic/american in imperial, we immediately convert it into SI units where the whole system is designed to work together, unlike this: -

Assuming the reservoir is quite silted up, I bet the first couple of metres of depth represents a huge proportion of the contents. The further they drain the faster it will appear to empty.

I am a bit confused by this. People told they can only go to thier homes for 15 minutes or not at all, one lady threatened with arrest but 22 people still refusing to move. What powers do the police have in this circumstance?
