Any major change to your lifestyle will have your body playing catch up. Keep hydrated and do as you are doing, things will even out.

I have put on a few kg's since winter training but it isn't unwanted weight as i am pb'ing on every climb i tackle. It is simply additional muscle weight.
I am 76kg's now, 5'11" and a size 30 inch waist. I climb and ride faster simply because my power has increased through cycling/training. It doesn't matter if this adds a bit of weight as long as it is in favour of your watt/kg ratio.

So in summary, as long as it isn't adding inches to your waistline then you should be good. Let the results do the talking too.

It was only 2lb, but on top of 3 stone from steroid use very frustrating.

I guess I have to concede that a year of prednisolone will mean some muscle wastage, and I need to build that back up and it might mean some weight gain. I'm also not off them totally yet. What is bizarre is that I have lost a lot of weight around my face (moon face from steroids) and this isn't reflected on the scales. People have commented on this and said I look skinnier. Oh well.

I'm using that fitness pal app on my phone to track my food and being totally honest about it, I promise. There's no point in lying to myself, that's not going to get three stone off me!
