I thought I would get away with it, but clearly I was wrong ... (That's two mistakes in one lifetime - tut, tut, I must be more careful!

I'll pop up the road to Miss Goodbody's and make sure she's warm when she gets naked and wet
Weather down South is looking good, There is a group of us going out in the morning, Got my bibshorts and short sleeve jersey all ready sorted for a 9am start.Up here (compared to all you's lot daan saarf) its forecast to be 14 degrees on Wednesday
My longest ride this year was a difficult and windy 40..........I think I will try for a 50 this week providing it's not too windy again.
I didn't actually vote to get 'older' but being retired (and in reasonable health) does have it's benefits.
Any other 'oldies' planning to benefit from it...........or those simply not working on that day ??
When did 50 miles become a long ride.
The good news on that, Colin, is that now Thursday is very close to being equally good around here/there.I have to wait in for a delivery of a radiator for my bathroom.....
But the 'bad news' (in that respect) is that my sister and nephew are coming up on Thursday so I might have to be hanging about waiting for them to arrive. If they tell me that they won't be here until mid-afternoon then I can get out for a decent ride before that. The good news on that, Colin, is that now Thursday is very close to being equally good around here/there.
Actually, the good news is that I just got a text to say that my parcel should be delivered by 10:45 so I will have plenty of time to get a decent sunny ride in!The good news on that, Colin, is that now Thursday is very close to being equally good around here/there.
