When I was a wee nipper, my sister and I had a bright orange and yellow, soft toy tortoise named Ostrobogulous. Somehow even as a three year old I managed to say its name properly. Now I can barely string a sentence together....

Yes, yes, not feeling great, thanks, so an enforced day in is no bad thing. Trying to sort out a 48-hour heart monitor, and the only dates they could offer me were the day when I get back (too) late from France, or just before I (hopefully) go away the next time, too late to do 48 hours. Drat. Would quite like them to see the merry dances the ole ticker is doing, as part of the picture.

Feel surprisingly good after last night's beers in town, might have helped that we managed to bag a table in a restaurant rather than just sit ank drink all evening. Mrs. 666 was still slightly unamused as I got back a bit late - I blame the trains.

Anyhow, ISA now ISA'd for this year. Best crack with a bit of tax mitigation on a larger scale.

What a proverbial-ing it down day. Just as well I was inside in the glasshouse, encouraging the plants on. The Walled Garden is going to be well stocked this year, already looking good.

Arrive home and spot a small Amazon box sitting in the dry. A dozen quails eggs, Hotel Chocolate stylee. Took me ages to discover who had sent it, tiny print down the bottom, friend from dahn saff. Ta muchly.
