I bought half-a-gallon, about 2 years ago
The work bike chain/cassette are wiped clean & lubed every week (more if wet), the other bikes as needed

I"d reckon there's still a couple of pints left in the container

gt85 is fine as a chain lube for use after the bike gets a wash. keeps the chain running sweet, although if the bike's been ridden in very wet weather, it will get some finishline oil as well…

Wd40 is a superb degreaser . . gt 85 is better ...
its no good for chain lube..so apply to a rag and rub it in, then oil chain

Don't think most people agree with you @alecstilleyedye (eg see first quote), and I don't either. OK for degreasing; good for avoiding the chain going rusty after a wet ride and neglect, or when 'storing' a bike for a while, but its capability for lubrication is low.
