Was I mad? Help to identify a couple of old bikes

Had my first spin into the village this evening understand how fit people were when they cycled these everywhere.


It all stripped and painted. Have sourced the few bits I need and am hopeful of getting my hands on a decent set of used wheels (this will not get as much work)
Then its just rebuild

Also my neighbour saw the Humber this eve and announced there are 4 old bikes in a room in the old house on the farm. Said I could have a look and take what I wanted. Ill have a look tomorrow.

More projects on the way then!!!!!! Need pictures though.

Well I finally got things done. First road test today.

Any luck with the frame numbers?

The only other Raleigh dealer in that area, County Mayo, went out of business in the 30's.
Nothing to say that it wasn't bought from another shop, just Raleigh had their own approved dealers.
