Let's face it we got a bizarre bit of luck with Molano a couple of stages ago. De Gendt isn't the breakaway monster he once was, and Taaramae may have worn red a few years ago but lightning isn't going to strike twice.

5, Vin Rog and Wilko back in the bunch. There were two big groups floating off teh front, rejoining and splitting, now settled to 33 lead group and the peloton. Maybe Jumbo will go all in for Kuss!


Max Poole was in the front group when it had a decent lead but is now back to the bunch, must have been a mechanical or crash. (Hugh Cathy only other brit in the break i think)

Actually think that just an admin error on the site, commnetary has Max Poole in teh break with Bardet as does another source

Gesink is in break on one source and not on another!!
