Tommorows stage has Remco all over it 😁
I'm kind of hoping Jumbo let Roglic of the leash to have a go...I feel for him.

So Orla's leaving Eurosport to go and do the English premiership rugby on BT Sport? Doesn't seem like a positive career move Hmm. That's a shame. Even stranger leaving in the middle of a GT.

Anyway what's left?
Today - flat with a cat2 climb to finish
Wed - Angliru!
Thu. Relentless mountains, cat 1 finish. Max cat 1 climb
Fri. Flat
Sat. Long & Lumpy bumpy. Max cat 3
Sun. Stage 21. Flat

She was still on GCN+ Breakaway programme for today's stage.

Smart move by JV.

Vingo is in prime position to fend off anyone else should Sepp falter now.

I still think - hope - JV are working for Sepp to win since there are no downsides for them in that and only positives but I guess this is a Pro sport and Vingo's participation must have been to challenge for victory and go on to complete the set of major stage races later on with a Giro win too at some point.

Today will likely give us the answer.

Agree with all that. Their tactics were consistent with getting all 3 guys as far ahead as possible of non-JV riders (but letting Sepp keep the leader's jersey).

May not have been the official plan, but I suspect it's what all 3 knew would/should happen if the other top-10 riders did nothing. Especially in the light of Van Hoydonk's misfortune :-/

I think the next couple of stages will decide the out come, I don't see anything but a Jumbo win but can they keep all 3 on the podium, Movistar and UAE are going to have to do something different and maybe even take a few risks if they want to crash the party.
I expect Evenepoel to go for the win today seeing as he lost a whole chunk of time on the climb yesterday.

There is one downside: Kuss would seek more money in next year's contract negotiations if he wins a GT.

But I think they may have underestimated the hate that Vingo will attract if he takes the lead off Kuss by an unprovoked attack like that.

Also will kuss want be be the superdomestic he's been to Vin over past few seasons? Seems a funny way to repay loyalty?!
Ok if he fails on the mountain fair enough but to attack him isn't cricket!

I think Jumbo expected Movistar and UAE to to chase Vingegaard and I don't mean with Fisher-Black and were just looking to increase the distance between their 3 riders and the rest. I think the race is Kuss's to lose I don't think Vingegaard and Roglic will attach him just ensure that no other team takes over the lead of the race.

If i was him I'd leave, maybe go to Ineos who'll treasure him 🙄
