Regular handwashing can reduce people catching colds and viruses yes. I thought everyone knew that now, theres been enough about it.

Wash your hands a lot and you wont be getting the colds in the first place .

Avoiding people (especially snotty children) with colds helps I find, I had a 2 day sniffle in October and then nothing else all winter, despite using public transport and working in an office

BTW if you can get to a sauna a bit of olbas in the water when you throw it on the coals is wonderful.

lemon grass or orange essential oil in the sauna. Give it a go.

one thing is the orange oil will melt the plastic cups, even when very diluted.
