I've come across Southampton CTC. They are very popular throughout the city and beyond. They also have a campaign going for better cycle facilities.

My friend Cary has joined. Here she is at Eling near Southampton. I am trying to build up my stamina before going out with them. My old Giant Tourer is a bit slower than some of the bikes, so I need to be up to speed! Will report back after my first CTC ride...

I sometimes help out with their rides, they’re a good bunch, with some nice routes.
