I hope you ignored it...it's called the pavement in the UK

In the past I've had my bike tyres punctured (the nails were left in the tyres), it's been urinated on, I've had empty soda and beer cans stuck into the rack, crisp packets stuff in between the spokes.

Those people just didn't like a bike blocking the pavement. But cars parked on the pavement, shop advertising boards, parking meters, road work signs (now there's irony), do-not-park signs, all these on the pavement, and those dumb people don't care. But when a bike is parked up.... Well the human condition rates it's ugly head.

Anyway so far no retaliation from the neighbour , must have got a real rollicking from the plod .
