Anyone switch to vapes?

I've spoken to a number of former smokers recently who reckon they'd never go back to the real thing,
so tonight I've ordered this -

vapour2_ex_standard_kit___44406.1482313576.450.450.jpg

Fifty eight quid posted and if they work I should save a fortune. Recommended on a review site and come with a smart charger and ten refills, each supposed to last as long as a pack of twenty.

I tried some when they first came out and they were crap, but apparently they have improved beyond measure since then. Do they work?

I've been using an e cigarette for 5 years now, yes they work. Though it can sometimes take a while to settle on the right setup and liquid for you. Some liquids stink and they taste horrible, others are virtually undetectable by smell and taste really pleasant. It's usually the cheap stuff that's bad.

Most users will move on from your type of unit quickly, they're ok but not great. When I started the accepted wisdom was to avoid anything that looks like a cigarette, and to go for a liquid tank with a decent battery to deliver some umph. I had a similar "cigarette looking" setup and replaced it with a better system just weeks later.

I'm the same as @CanucksTraveller , been a vaper for 5 years, use a proper largish battery and tank ( nautilus). I use tootin juice coolin tobacco juice, virtually no smell. The sweet ones can really stink. Really peed off that you can now only by 10ml bottles, makes it more expensive. I get my juice off the net from a place in cornwall called Betty's vapour lounge, consitently cheaper than most for the tootin juice. I work in canary wharf, seems to me there are now more vapers than smokers there.

Been vaping for over 3 years now. Started vaping with a cigalike (don't remember the make) and it worked well enough to not want to go back to cigarettes. Moved on to an EVOD after a few months which I still use. The advantage of this type is that you refill with the flavour of your choice (or discovery) and aren't tied into a particular type of cartridge. Works out cheaper too.
Good luck - and don't let the cartridges burn dry (you'll discover why the first time you do it!)

I've been vaping for a year after full fat Marlboro for life previously.

Find your formula, be patient, there are so many variables in vaping.

I like a discrete low vapour vape because it doesn't draw attention. I'm on high nicotine liquid.

I tried many flavours and PG/VG mixes and settled on 70% PG for the hit. My flavour choice is settled now too but it took time to find one.

I don't want to quit nicotine but that might change

Ive been vaping since new years day 2016. I was on 50 b&h gold a day.
In short yes,vaping works.
Im not familiar with the kit that you have bought but as mentioned above by @HarryTheDog the nautilus tank is a good one and also the one I use, mini nautilus.Ive got a cupboard full of tanks and drippers etc as I experimented alot with alot of different kit and allways end up back with the naitilus.I make my own juice which help save even more of a fortune^_^..I havnt spent a penny on anything vape related since october 2016.Im currently in the process of getting away from the vaping also but allways have it with me just in case.

Best thing I ever did. Stick with it, you won't regret it although it takes time to fully realise the benefits of not smoking.

I'd favour a Nautilus type setup too but perjaps cigalikes have improved.

I used one when I gave up fags for 3 months following my 2nd leg operation, couldn't wait for it to be over but then again my favourite smoke is 'Old Holborn' rolled with Liquorice papers or (when friends bring em back from India for me) Bidi,

Work out to about a penny each.

I gave up the cigs 3 years ago and starting vaping. Started off with a small vape pen then gradually built up to a mod and sub ohm tank which gives much more usability but is much bigger. I still use a much smaller arc mini with an aspire k3 tank as my daily and stick to a 3mg nicotine menthol liquid i make myself which costs no more than £10 for a litre. Which lasts me a very long time.

Well worth switching and even now the smell of cigs makes me gag. In terms of health benefits i am so much more healthier. I can breath better dont get out of breath as quickly and havent had a cold or illness since giving up.
