Useless Advice Required

From my teacher,

Give up trying to get anywhere because your thick and stupid and basically a hopeless case.

Fast forward a few years and I have a degree, a good job and have just started a Graduate Diploma

I know of a teacher who said that to one girl because he reckoned that was his last chance at motivating her - she 'proved him wrong' much to his relief (she was in tears when his response to "shove that [degree result] up your arse" was "I knew you could do it")

Junior school headmistress who didn't like me (or any other males, it turned out): "Why are you applying to go to grammar school?"

Me: "Well, I've come top in class every year for 4 years, I got 100% in my mock 11 plus and I want to go to grammar school!"

Headmistress: "Don't waste their time, they won't take you!"





I was awarded a 'Direct Grant' place at the school of my choice and had 100% of my fees paid for 7 years !

The next time I was bullied I smacked the bully in the face.
