I wouldn't buy a bicycle I hadn't sat on. The "Bronx Metropolis" might be a perfectly adequate bike, but even if it is, you need to sit on the bike to check the size. I consider myself to be a "size medium" but there's no rhyme or reason to bike frame sizes between manufacturers. My old bike is size medium but my new one is a size large.
From what I've seen on YouTube videos, spending a lot of money on a bike as a beginner or recreational rider is a mistake. There's this Canadian guy who has put 10,000 miles on one of his main bikes which he bought new for $300, replaced the crank set and wheels and made a couple of adjustments, and in total it came to $600. If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me.
