R. Souls of Olney changed their name to Souls and Son in the early 80's after That's Life got wind of it snd took the pith.
Don't know, but the restaurant has closed now. It was next to an Italian restaurant called Costa Lottie. Also now closed.

Two now retired colleagues of mine had the surnames Sherlock and Holmes. Not in itself amusing, but together, they regularly had to prepare for and attend, formal appeal hearings. Which was a cause of regular amusement to the Commissioners hearing the appeals.

Back when Wogan used to host the Radio 2 breakfast show people used to write in, often trying to use a comedy name. Most were spotted before being read out on air but one letter that did get through was one by a certain Jenny Taylor.
I think it was Paulie Walters who twigged, the chuckling lasted several minutes.
