Two now retired colleagues of mine had the surnames Sherlock and Holmes. Not in itself amusing, but together, they regularly had to prepare for and attend, formal appeal hearings. Which was a cause of regular amusement to the Commissioners hearing the appeals.

There was a teacher at my primary school called Miss Moody. When she got married she became Mrs Cross.

I had a science teacher called Mr Lowcock.

I worked with a lady called Mary Trimmer. Apparently Mary is slang for lady garden.

Back when Wogan used to host the Radio 2 breakfast show people used to write in, often trying to use a comedy name. Most were spotted before being read out on air but one letter that did get through was one by a certain Jenny Taylor.

I think it was Paulie Walters who twigged, the chuckling lasted several minutes.
