Slightly OT:
Aye - the Tour Series race in Kirkcaldy caught us by surprise too  - maybe those Fifers want to keep it to themselves ! They could work on their publicity a bit ...

Loved the intro to the Kirkcaldy race, where they talk about the area - which, in 'Kirkcaldy speak' includes St Andrews, the whole East Neuk and N Queensferry ... not most people's thoughts when 'Kirkcaldy' is mentioned !

I've stayed in Kirkcaldy a few times, I think St Andrews is one of the nicest parts of it too.

Excellent racing in Colchester...Hugh Porter doesnae half haver tho!!
Was really good. UK youth impressive team performance.

Yes, it was a nasty crash and there looked to be a risk of neck injury. I didn't catch his surname but I think his first name was Tom, and he was taken to hospital. Hope there'll be good news soon.

Anyhow, I see the tour series is in Canary Wharf next Thursday. Are any Londoners from here planning to go along?

Woking tomorrow, Aylsham (north of Norwich) Thursday, Ipswich friday.
Tuesday and Thrursday have women's races as well, Friday there is a TTT at 1500 plus another race in between that and the final crit at 1930. Still open but UK Youth look well in command at present.

Managed a trip to Woking yesterday. Excellent high speed contest and a demonstration of power for the individual win by .........(just in case you don't know) plus a good team contest.
The women's race had it's moments, despite crashing and rejoining, a winner finishes battered and bloody to massive acclaim from a very big and enthusiastic crowd. Great stuff, and should be a good show on ITV4 tonight.
Managed it, no spoilers!

Good stuff, will have to watch later on.

A friend of mine said that their company has entered in the relay race on the Friday and now I have the day off so looks like I am going to busy watching!
