Fleche Wallonne today - round 4 of the World Cup, with Marianne Vos and Emma Pooley lining up for the first time this season.

Vos says she's not 100% and is backing Anna Van Der Breggen to lead the team. Pooley is reportedly targetting this race, but again, it's hard to believe that she'll be at her peak.

I seem to have missed the news that Emma Pooley is now racing for Lotto. They don't appear to have any results from 2014 unless Wiki is out of date.

So, it was one of Vos's teammates who won it after all - Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, 22yo French rider, national TT champion in 2012 and 2013. Never heard of her before but she seems like a prodigious talent!

Lizzie A came second. Another great result.

...and Emma Pooley 7th after a long time out of the limelight

She and Vos practically rode in together. Great ride by Armistead to finish 2nd in a race which doesn't really suit her. Hopefully she's now got enough points to hold off the inevitable upcoming run of wins by Vos...

Kirsten Wild won yesterday's Tour Of Chongming Island, with Cecchini second and Bronzini third. None of the main contenders were there, so Lizzie Armitstead retains her overall lead.

Next round is the Sparkassen Giro in August.
