Is there nothing the UCI won't do to their rulebook to aid a certain Mr (I'm the most tested athlete ever) Armstrong?
After allowing him to start the TDU to which he was ineligible. They now allow him to race The Tour of Gila after lobbying by the USCA.
This constant "interpretation" of rules when it relates to the man who appears to be bigger than the sport he indulges in, will, IMO eventually blow-up in the faces of all concerned. The rules are there to be followed by everyone, even if you don't agree or it is inconvenient. The UCI and the big tour bosses are doing everything they can to make sure they create a spectacle at this year's Giro and Tour and to hell with the other riders!
