Are you sure,Punctures on club rides always take longer to fix if they are wired. Or maybe it's just our club riders.I've also found putting folders on more of an effort.

I've heard some good reviews of the
SPECIALIZED ALL CONDITION ARMADILLO.
Try theseSince having another puncture after running over some loose gravel i'm thinking about swapping out my 'Continental Grand Prix 4000S II Folding Road Tyre' for the gatorskin ones.

I've tried running PSI from 80 to 120 but I've still had about 5 punctures. Apart from not riding over anything sharp is there anything else I can do?
Thanks
Andy
"Treacle", no thanks. I don't want anymore resistance!!They are pretty good, I ran them for years until I swapped over to the Schwalbe's, however, they do feel like you are riding through treacle.
The decathlon's don't seem to get great reviews! Some are saying that the side walls are cracking.Try these

I've been using them on 2 of my bikes, for the last few months, they are pretty much bomb proof, and don't cost very much. They are no where near as draggy as the Durano + they replaced, but just as bullet proof.
Failing that.

Tannus airless tyres, they can't puncture, This was the bike on which I did this

So they are actually not too bad ( despite what some people may tell you ).
I really don't like any of the Continental tyres, I've tried, in the past.
Ok thanks for the information. It's a shame because solid tyres does sound a very good idea. I've order the Durano Plus now. I will see how I get on with these. Thanks all.Despite what some people tell you, solid tyres are rubbish. We've written about it here quite recently. Avoid.
Sometimes Kevlar beaded tyres are easy to fit, sometimes not. Sometimes wire beaded tyres are easy to fit, sometimes not.
I had one who's side wall cracked, but they seem to be generally very good, and given they cost relatively bugger all, one cracked side wall didn't really bother me too greatly. I also had a GP4season that became totally unusable after 1 50 mile ride, and a GP4000sII that suffered a bead failure after 200 miles, so I reckon the cheap ones are better VFM, even if there's the odd dud.The decathlon's don't seem to get great reviews! Are they still usable once cracked?I had one who's side wall cracked, but they seem to be generally very good, and given they cost relatively bugger all, one cracked side wall didn't really bother me too greatly.

Did you order them from Spa cycles?Ok thanks for the information. It's a shame because solid tyres does sound a very good idea. I've order the Durano Plus now. I will see how I get on with these. Thanks all.
yea me to. They look a nice tyre, but I've had way too many punctures. When I went through the loose gravel last night I thought, I bet I get a flat. No once else did, when I see them next I will ask them what they were using.Theyr'e well thought of as a decent commuting tyre, I'm confident you'll see fewer issues through the gravel with these than your current
Nope from wiggle, twice as much, are they the same, they just say ETAPE on them.Did you order them from Spa cycles?
