Ive been over them with a fine tooth comb . A few stones embedded but nothing on the inside . I only had two slow flats , the rest where instant while riding . As Vickster found out , the roads around here are not the cleanest  I had been driving to RP for a ride but now the holidays are over the free parking will be gone and i'm not allowed in the park with the van so ill have to start taking the bike on the roads to get there .

- and even less at PBK, and more discount if you buy 2 (?). BTW I weighed one - 217gm - that's around 10gm more than Continental quote.

Can't see any reduced price for buying a pair on PBK? In fact a pair is £53.99 and they are £24.99 individually.

Ribble have 10% off tyres presently, so they are £24.30 at present. Anyone seen cheaper?

I was sent the PBK offer (again) on 30th Dec advertising 10% off if you ordered 2, 15% if you ordered 4, automatically applied, limited time. I ordered 2 before Christmas with 15% off over £50 deal, = 21.24 each. ('Pair' pricing was higher then too).

ive just brought the gp4000s off pro bike kit 2 for £45 plus 4% cashback through quidco hopefully havnt fitted them yet has they only turned up today and at work i think they have 10% off all orders at the moment. normally run the gatorsksins and have had no issuses but thought i would try these out with the price being very good.

Just out of interest, is there a performance difference between a folding tyre & a rigid one ?

I'm assuming they may be easier to put on.....
Are they a better purchase than a rigid tyre ?

I think so, I prefer them, find them more 'responsive', maybe a subjective opinion, maybe because they are considerably lighter than wire bead equivalents. Some higher end tyres are only available as folding e.g GP4000S. Not sure they are easier to put on. I haven't had any problems, but some people find them awkward to put on esp when new, just unfolded.

Hope they are the S version for that price.

That's a good price. Just wish deals would come up more often for the Conti 4 Seasons. I bought mine last year on a deal, but they are few and far between.
