Fastest tyre i have ever used Schwalbe Ultremo zx great for the summer, did get a couple of punctuers a couple of weeks ago, so i have put on some mavics that seem to be holding up so far, not as fast as the Ultremos but do feel like a good tyre.

Another thumbs up for the Michelin Pro 4. I have got the endurance on the winter bike and the ride it like you stole it Comp version on the summer bike.

The Comps are something else and only 180grms each. You could go for the Comp ltd, if you really wanted to hoon, they are only 160grms, but you do sacrifice puncture protection, so you may need to get your butler to sweep your course prior to riding.

I have the same tyres (25mm Pro 4 endurance), roll very well, have had one puncture caused I think by glass and then two simultaneously caused by riding over a rock in the bus lane on the way into Twickenham!! I think the pair was under £50.

My riding like I stole it is somewhat relative...I could however outrun the average PCSO or copper, they often being individuals of ample girth these days

I've been riding Michelin Pro Service Course for a year and had two punctures, one totally my fault. 23mm for the front and 25mm for the back. I like them a lot.
On another forum people were saying that Conti4000 / 4 seasons were rubbish so who figures?
I have Gatorskinne on another bike and there are fine too but they don't roll as well and there are heavier.

I take it the giant tyres don't have a very big fan base here  Are they more for track racing? They do feel nice to ride on .

Nothing particularly wrong with Giant's tyres - certainly no better or worse than any other OEM tyre...

Schwalbe Ultremo ZX- light and fast, even faster at finding punctures.
Conti 4000s - outstanding tyre, good grip, good wear, responsive.... Really like them.
S-Works 24c Turbo's - grippy, super fast, light and the only tyre fast enough to get me off GP4000s

Hmmm I may put the Gatorskins on for now as there doesn't seem to be a lot in it other than opinion and I already have them . Problem is , I've had 9 punctures with them , still I guess its better than no PP .

with gators you need to check them for embedded glass etc as that seems to be the main culprit for flats.
