As usual this thread is following the rules of an 'Is it worn out' thread.
You get posts saying ride on and others saying scrap it. The OP is already in doubt about the, in this case, tyre. So why post, for safety critical equipment if in doubt, replace.
Having survived a 30mph rear blow out on a bike (And in my younger days, a 60mph blow out on the front tyre of a motorbike.) I can vouch for the difficulty of dealing with a flat at speed. It's something to avoid if you can!
