Tyre Size?

Hi all, would it be ok to replace a 29 x 230 mtb tyre with a 29 x 220?
I want to replace my Bontrager tyres ready for the winter but I can only find XR3 29 x 2.20/2.40. I've encountered fitting problems with other brands so would prefer to stick with Bontrager. Many Thanks.

Yes sure it's the 29" that's the critical size 2.20 will be slightly narrower.
