Best suggestion AB. Hadn’t thought of that but an ideal solution.

Only downside might be the cost, bar ends are quite expensive especially compared with these cheapie band on ones:

Might be worth checking the tube diameter but I don’t think the Nitro used oversize.

Should be okay. They say can be either indexed or friction, you'll have one extra click on the index.
