Oh dear looks like I'm a minority I don't like it sorry.
It's a no from me

I'm with you, not keen to be honest

Fair enough - it is a bit novelty I know! Could make the "chaingang" writing more subtle and the name on the back is also not essential.

Would be nice to have something everyone would be comfortable wearing. I like the thought of the black and white "chaingang" stripes, but maybe we could have them integrated into something more subtley - I'll see if I can come up with anything....

The middle image is most appealing to me. Bear in mind its just over a month for those doing the Cambridge sportive! Decison will have to made very shortly or no delivery

Yep, I like the middle one two. Even better than the stripey one before.... Sportive season is a month away fo4 me two.. and whilst I will be a Chaingang minority, I’d wear it with pride..

Wouldn’t it just be better to do away with the black stripes totally? At the moment that design looks like it has a tyre track going up the back of it. Not really a good look for a cyclist ^_^. And the arms would look close to zebra print. I understand some of you guys were in your prime in the eighties but I just don’t think there’s a place for zebra print on clothing in the modern world!

I quite like the black stripes - I think it has to have something different to stand out in some way as a "team" jersey otherwise we just end up with a plain jersey we could buy anywhere (bit boring). And it ties in with the "chaingang" name without being a full on fancy dress item! That's only one particular design that has the stripe down the back - it can also be done like this:

I agree, I think it needs something. Most, not all hence the change, liked the black and white 'prison' style so I think keeping that in the design somewhere is a good compromise. We want to be able to spot each other in a group, stand out a bit, have a bit of fun ... plain would be a bit dull. We all have our favourite tops for other times, but when in a group ride be really nice to have something different and that stands out

I know what you’re saying about standing out. But no one’s going to look at that and get the chaingang reference are they? For me it just looks like what it is. A compromise. I’ll go with whatever the majority wants but in the spirit of being honest, I don’t think it works for me.

I didn’t realise it was that close! Now I’m more worried about my lack of fitness than the jersey I’ll be wearing!
