Early start for me as one of the lads had taken the van keys home by accident.
Back with a brew now so I can tidy myself up for a teams meeting later this morning.
Chill factor tonight with the kids, make or break with their first ski lesson.

Literally ^ ?! They'll love it.

Morning from damp and misty Jockland.

Taking Tricky to see the dental Wizard down the not very yellow road that isn't brick again.
Good excuse for a cruise. Might play some tunes.

But that's a little while away which means plenty of time for more coffee.

@sungod Pond pics are just downright plagiarism straight out of the Pinno book. I will sue.
I would forgive you if there was some ducks or swans or something. Terrible.

Morning
Nice and sunny but damp as it persisted it down during the night. Adrian the decorator has just arrived so more chaos, so it will be keeping out of the way in garage.

Morning Reprobates,

Up way too early for a drive and pedal into town, but still managed to be late for my first call - sneaked in both camera and mic off. Year end fever is ramping up here and the minions are very busy, so suppose I should do some work...

In town this morning, missed my usual coffee. Lunch on the way home made up for it, then an afternoon of tinkering with trainer bike. Set of shifters arrived in the post, so installed those to make sure they work. Does anyone know if Shimano 7020 levers don't work that well with a Dura Ace 9000 front mech? Do I have to use one of the R8000 series ones instead with that silly side pull thing? Seems to shift "ok" but a bit sticky for the first bit of the movement.

Bludged the rest of the day.

Hmm, I might re-grease the cable inners then and see if that helps. It's only the trainer bike anyway, but I hate noisy drivetrains and poor shifting. It had some tired old 10 speed shifters that were very worn in the ratchet mechanism, so I figured I'd update it a little with some spare mechs in boxes. Have ordered a new chain and cassette as the existing 11 speed ones I have as spares have done probably over 12,000 km.

Often felt I'd turned bludging into a professional talent, managed to get clients to pay me for it sometimes
