Get both. High TPI tyres like Vittoria Open Pro and the latex tube make an awesome combination. As in very noticeably better than say Durano with butyl.
People say latex is expensive but in the bigger scheme of things it's actually the cheapest yet one of the most effective upgrades.
As to pumping up daily? Non issue. Forces you to always have the right pressures, so a bonus really. All my clincher wheelsets have latex in them.
