Tubeless tyre bulging

Hey there!

Just got some new Hutchinson overdrive tyres and one has a weird bulge when I fit it. I've fitted loads of tubeless tyres and have never seen this before.

I'm thinking it's a manufacturing defect, what do others think? Is it safe to ride?

Looks like a manufacturing issue, probably safe to ride but I would be emailing those same pics to the retailer and asking for a replacement.

Just sent them an email, hopefully they'll replace. Just never seen that before but can't think it can be anything I did

Take it off and send it back. Definitely a defective tyre and likely to fail in the longterm.

Unfortunately you will have to deal with whatever gloop you filled the tyre with and also I doubt the tyre supplier will reimburse you for the wasted sealant?
