I‘m reading this on the train, better than any detective novel! At this stage (not skipping to the end...) I’m wondering how second hand this bike is and whether it has an unmatched collection of parts. And yes, the cable angle looks all wrong!

Well i think im done with it, its stressing me out too much, any money i had put aside to put into a shop ive spent on tools and parts,
Im not spending anymore on it now
Have you bought a bike stand? That’s the really essential tool for work on the gears.

I normally put it in the turbo to do any work on it.

Not really had a proper play with it since the weekend but it was working OK, could be better.
I'll see if i can fine tune it when i get a chance.

Any idea what could cause the front gear lever to stick?
when I push it towards the right to Change up it doesn't come back on its own.

I've not played with the front at all as I've been concentrating on the back

I didn't want to start a new thread "trouble with front gears" 😂

Yeah I thought that was the case that was the only cable I haven't replaced I've just put new bar tape on so hopefully I can replace the inner cable without out taking the bar tape off again!
