I've just clipped my finger and toe nails. I'm pleased beyond belief, as doing my right foot is very difficult due to my waiting for a hip replacement operation means I can only lift my right foot up half as much as the right one and being blind in my right eye means my knee blocks a full on view of my right foot. So I'm glad it's been done without any mishaps.

Maybe we need a voluntary chiropody service, ruie over to a fellow cyclists and cut there toe nails whilst talking about Reynolds tubing and sturmley archers!!🤣🤣🤣

Current weird one; finding solid deodorant on a shop shelf. Not sure why their is a shortage or its only the Mitchum one that is available on which you cannot use it all up as the moving part is trapped. Found some Dove ones today and limited myself to only buying two.

I couldn't be bothered washing my car at a local garage/fuel station today. I used to be able to soap/foam brush it, rinse it and spray that liquid polish on it for £3, but I just can't rush round my car quickly enough these days, so it'd probably cost me at least £4 to do it. Instead for the first time in my life a drove to one of those carwash/valet places to get it done for me. I sat there for 15 minutes while a bloke power washed it, soaped it, rinsed it with that added liquid polish then wiped it dry, plus he cleaned my alloy wheels. I looked at those wheels after and they were cleaner than they've ever been, almost new looking! How much would you say this cost? I would've settled for about 7 or 8 quid, but no it was a mere £4! Cheaper than it'd cost me and a better job as well. I was so pleased I gave him a fiver and told him to keep the change and believe me old tight was me isn't normally a tipper!!:okay:

That is a seriously good price! The last time I checked, those valet prices were £20 for inside and out. But the last time I ever went there was when they were £12 and about to put the price up to £14. Sod that, I have not been back there since.

There have been a couple of raids on hand car wash places 'round here due to modern slavery concerns. Less likely to be the case if it was one guy, but if it's 5 or 6 doing it, they take half hour and it costs £15, be very suspicious.

4 quid for small cars, a fiver for medium size and 6 quid for large cars is what they charge. I don't know how much for interiors and full valets etc. I'll have a look next time.:okay:
