I usually have a toke
On a supermarket car park last i was asked by some bloke as i got out of my car if i wanted his trolley. Don't be fooled into thinking he was being polite. He wanted me to take it off him so he didn't have to take it to the 'trolley shelter' or whatever they call them. I don't use trolleys only baskets,so i declined the offer. As i walked away i saw him push the trolley with force towards the trolley shelter about 20 yards away, then heard it crash into other parked up trolleys. What a lazy f..k..g slob you are thought i!😒

Edit...I've seen him down my local pub with his feet up on chairs that folk have to sit on. I totally dislike this oaf! 🧐

I say trivial because its (imo) seeped into our (British at least) psyche and it's so prevalent now I dont think people realise it....moaning. Moaning about Covid, the government, the opposition, Christmas dinner with family (or not), Brexit, lockdown, everyone has an opinion on everything, its spewing into FB, social media, theres an almost kneejerk cynicism now about so much it's getting on my nerves.
Even my wife, relating to me this morning how it's going to effect us, relating peoples horror on FB, how they will have a get tigether and be damned...my response.....
Stop whining, everyone is moaning and whining about (often)something they cant change, have no influence over, theres no point other that winding yourself up.
If you're going to not comply, just stop whining and do it quietly. Tell people who have lost jobs, tell people who have lost loved ones, tell us all who are going to bear the financial brunt of all this for decades perhaps, tell us you want you dinner with family and it just smacks of selfishness.
Just do it quietly and stop whining.

I bought a few of these cheapskate cards, then posted them through neighbours doors. I think i might've posted some without peeling off the obviously cheapo labels.🤔

This is an increasing act of laziness that annoys me: Parents who park in parent and child bays, then one of the parents nips into the shop while the other one minds the kids in the car.

They're parents clearly, so you'd think they KNOW how important it was to have extra room to get a toddler in and out safely. But they're happy to deny others that important bit of help, happy for the poor new mum to struggle to wrangle her 1 year old safely out of the car in a narrow space, all because Karen is too bloody bone idle to walk another 20 yards!

People who 'borrow' your track pump - change the valve from presta to schrader - and then neglect to change it back again -

- meaning that your fumblingly cold fingers drop the insert on the not-too-clean barn floor - when preparing for a ride ...

People who live in fear of a virus that probably won't kill them then spend 2 trips a day cycling in heavy traffic on their commute ... Risk Theory is just lost on some people ...

My Covid 'bubble pal' (my ex) looked after me for 2 weeks at her house when I came out of hospital in 2012 and was too weak to look after myself. She eventually told me that she was fed up with me leaving the toilet seat up and would I kindly put it back down again after I was finished.

She is here at the moment and I pointed out that she always leaves the toilet seat down and would she kindly put it back up again... She thinks that I am being petty!

To make matters worse,i've just opened a drawer and found an almost full packet/box of cheapskate Christmas cards from last year. I didn't have to spend 75p on cheapo cards after all!!!🧐

You're both being petty

She opines diplomatically..

Nice to have the wellness. and lightness of spirit back, to be able to joke about such matters though eh ?

Round our way, toilet seat closure is an essential hygienic practice..

In summer at least.

Flies just love the chance to have a forage about in the compost loo
