Oh yes,i've had those missed by the blades very thick crusts!:okay:

How about... people who store the fresh (and later, not-so-fresh) contents of their noses in handkerchiefs rather than in disposable tissues?
I used to work in a big business
a VERY senior manager - very 'assertive' personality (other words are available)
When he had a cold he used to come in with several cotton hankies
and when they got - errr - a bit too 'wet' or 'crusty' for use' - he hung them on the radiator in his office to dry until they could be used again

which was 'distracting'

Mugshot

Cracking a solo.
'Thick sliced bread' that really isn't thick sliced, atall.
'Medium sliced bread' that is actually wafer thin!

There should be a British Standard for such things..
Damn straight :okay:

Sliced bread. Thick sliced bread used to be thick, now it's no more than what used to be medium sliced and medium is now thin and thin has been cut with a laser. If you want thick sliced you get an XXX thick sliced toastie loaf, or whatever, so you can still get it, but why make thick sliced not thick. It not thick anymore, stop pretending it is!!!!! :cursing:

On line stories about people who makeover their house for £40. If you ever read them they are total BS and almost inevitably it will look awful in a couple of months as it’s been done so cheap.
There was one recently about a lady who painted her laminate floor. It’s bound to loss awful.

This blurry photo' was taken the other night in the wind and rain, but as you can see the green for go traffic lights and the green for 'safe to walk' lights are on at the same time.

Are the lights for two separate sides of the road as it looks like there might be a central Refuge there?

It's a single lane road, meaning two lanes, one going one way one the other. You can turn left or right at the lights. The green man comes on about 2 seconds after the green traffic lights come on. There's another one leading on and off a retail estate. I was nearly caught out one day while out on my bike. I'd always dismount and walk through the lights, rather than cycle. I saw the man turn to green then set off only to see cars coming at me! Very dangerous!!

One of the things that really annoys me here (and in Japan, come to think of it) is that if there are pedestrian lights on a junction then not only are the lights in sequence with the traffic, so the button is a placebo, but that the green shows for pedestrians and turning traffic.

Drivers are generally awake to this and expect people crossing and wait, but it creates a dangerous situation and makes it clear that pedestrians and cyclists are of a lower priority than keeping traffic moving. The UK's system is far more civilised.

Litter. Hate it. You brought the litter to that location. Take it home with you.
OOOOOO

yes

that one!!

and people who go you a picnic and then find the bin is full so just leave the bag full of rubbish next to the bin

next to the Mersey - where there are seagulls - because sea

yeah - well that's gonna work isn't it

if it is in a plastic bag why - in the name of $deity - can't you just take the damn thing home?????

and also - NO - you can't just have a picnic on a bench on a canal path and just leave the rubbish in a bag at the side of the bench
your mummy isn't gonna come along and tidy it up for you!

Just listening to this at this very late hour.

Someone in the audience (i presume) coughed loudly on 1 minute 1 second and 1 minute 3.5 seconds. I found it annoying to say the least!.🧐
