Stuff may be wrapped up - but once you get it home you put it in the fridge/cupboard along with other things - some of which are open

so any bugs (etc) is not in your fridge or cupboard
Are you having a laugh? If you're that bothered give things a wipe down before you put them away.
What do you think happens before these items get to the supermarket exactly?

When a computer (or a phone) receives a message and you get a ping/pang/pong. 3 or 4 are just about ok but when they keep coming their droves, man, switch the volume to mute already!

It's, dogs on tables in cafes/pubs, similar to letting young kids climb onto tables, it shouldn't be allowed.
And there's the 'dog welcome' notices in an increasing number of food / eating establishments which is beyond me.
At the premises that began this, one of the wee dogs was yapping every so often which was irritating me as I have tinnitus.
As any 'observation' to the dog's owner would have probably ended badly and they were already there when we arrived, I didn't say anything to them. A yapping dog usually means the dog wants attention which these two weren't getting.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Black Friday. Is it today? Last Friday? Next Friday? Whenever it is or was or will be it seems to have been going on forever, promoting offers that are no better, often worse, than the usual discounting. It's a con. (Soon to be followed by Christmas Sales, New year Sales ...)

On a similar note, it's common to see youngsters sitting or clambering about on the packing benches by the checkouts at Aldi & Lidl.
Obviously, 'common sense' implies that they shouldn't, but you can be pretty sure that if one of said youngsters fell off the bench and injured themselves, the parents would be all over a lawsuit against the shop.

Bike tech.

Seriously, what bike tech? Another cog in the cassette, a chain that has wide/narrow teeth, hydraulic brakes?

Let's face it: there are.more bike brands than there are drivetrain brands. Reason: because making bike frames and assembling bits to it is quite straightforward. The difficult thing is making the drivetrain, and even that's not really hard compared to some of the engineering available in, ahem, motorbikes for example.
